Best Use of DeSo
DeSo is the official Web3 sponsor of the MLH Hackathon League and the first Layer 1 blockchain custom-built for decentralized social media applications. In order to qualify for the contest, you must launch an app that writes to the DeSo blockchain and implements DeSo identity. While social media apps are a great fit for DeSo, you can also build financial apps, marketplaces, and more on the DeSo blockchain. For inspiration on project ideas, you can check out some of the existing 200+ apps already live on DeSo at Bithunt.com as well as our DeSo APIs. The Best Use of DeSo gets $100 worth of $DESO coin & an exclusive DeSo branded tumbler!

GSU CETL Digital Learners to Leaders Challenge
Digital Learners to Leaders (DLL), was developed by CETLOE (Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Online Education) to address underrepresentation of women and minorities in STEM careers and the technology industry. DLL works to advance student understanding of digital literacy by encouraging program participants to create digital solutions to urban challenges.
Digital Learners to Leaders is now a class that seeks to challenge and inspire our students through interdisciplinary and experiential projects that engage students in teamwork, develop leadership skills, expose students to current technology and allow them to work with a diverse team of professionals.
The Challenge:
1. Further develop DLL Projects during the 48 hours of HackGSU
2. All projects must involve technology and impact a well-defined social or community issue
3. Final projects must be an app or device
4. Prototypes must have a visual representation and wire frame to walk us through the process
5. Non DLL Students may accept this challenge. Prizes can only be awarded to GSU Students.
6. DLL Challenge participants can get support from coaches at HackGSU as needed

Bonus points for creativity in the task being automated and estimated amount of time saved through the use of your team's automation.
